Anyone know of a Natural fabric softener, something to prevent static cling?
Can’t use store bought fabric softeners or dryer sheets due to my dogs allergies.
I agree with the vinegar. You can even put it in the downy ball if you want to, that way you don’t miss the rinse cycle.
If you use baking soda do it in the WASH cycle, otherwise you end up with powdery residue on your clothes, you need to rinse that out.
Vinegar smell dissipates after the clothes are dry so you don’t walk around smelling like a pickle, actually it leaves a really fresh, clean, sweet smell.
They may have some sort of ionic device in a ball, or whatever, that can go into the dryer. I have no idea.
For static in the house overall, you can try humidifying the air with a pan of water, a steamer for your clothes, etc. This may help everything, even that scuffle-zap fun that you have with the cat.
