How Many Animal Species Are More Intelligent Than Dogs?

To put it another way, where do dogs rank in terms of intelligence among all animal species? Clearly humans are on the top, then i think chimps, then monkeys. Where do dogs fall on that list? If you don’t know exactly, give me a rang, like top 10, top 20, whatever.

Dogs do make it into the top ten but for the most part they around around rank number 7 or 8. The thing is, as they learn more about animals the ranks change. For example they are thinking about moving elephants up.

The list, for the most part the top of the list goes humans, apes, toothed whales, pigs, elephants. After that you will find that different lists have animals ranked differently. Nonetheless all the lists include parrots, squid, ravens/crows, dogs (some also argue cats) and squirrel.
