Breeding animals. Your Opinion.
I’d just like to give my opinion and hear what others have to say. :]
i’d like to say, breeding is wrong. :[ unless you’re an experienced handler, and have been for many many many years you probably have no idea what you’re doing. i’m 19 years old and i’ve seen myspaces of 14 year olds that claim to be “pitbull breeders” it’s sickening. i’m a huge animal advocate, especially when it comes to APBT. i’m a HUGE fan of the breed, but i’m tired of every owner claiming to be a breeder, and A LOVER of the b reed. if you really loved a breed of dog, you wouldnt breed them! you’d rescue them! from shelters! i say, if you want to open a “kennel” and breed dogs, why not use your fundings to open up a rescue sanctuary!

I’ve never own or cared for an unaltered dog, the ones who come in are fixed as soon as they are healthy enough for the surgery get fixed (so far I’m at about 25, 18 adopted out). IMHO there are so many great dogs in desperate situations and these backyard breeders only make the situation worse. By being a backyard breeder, not caring about the genetics, behavior and care – you are only hurting the breed but most back yard breeder aren’t that interested in the future of the breed and are only a step above puppy mills when it comes to breed health/future.
