Why do my dogs hind legs shake when sitting?

I have a doberman, rottie, lab mix..he is 14 years old and very healthy for the most part. For the past few months now anytime he sits his hind legs shake tremendously. Now just yesterday his front leg is bothering him. He was constantly crying and staying off that leg…wouldn’t respond too much and just layed down. But he even cryed in his sleep. What could this be? I’m taking him to the vet next week but am very curious now as I am worried. Could it be arthritis…or just a sprain in his front leg???Was thinking of getting him one of those nice big comfy beds thats heated since he;s getting old and right now his isn’t too comfy.
He’s not in pain all the time. Just yesterday cause his front paw was bothering him. I’m not going to put a dog/lifelong friend down cause his leg hurts…I’m going to correct the problem hopefully. We don’t do that to humans why would i do that to an animal.

With such a big dog and older he most likely is having problems with his joints.This could be dysplaysia in the hing legs and arthritis in the knees.Make that appt and get him in,after the diagnoses and his age they will probably put him on Rymidal
