I love my dog with purple dye-Kool Aid?

I want to dye my white dog for the Ravens purple with Kool-Aid. I read a lot do that, but I want to know if, after it dries, if you are dripping wet all purple? or going to dye his hair for a while and then fade away? we to know because we had much rain and plenty of "Taking Care of Business" and we can make the flow of purple across our white carpet .. as I said, we need to know if, after it dries and takes purple wet or stain until it fades hair?

I have to dye my Australian shepherd purple puppy toy for the group was to i. I also dyed blue Russell Jack White for the colts game last year.
