Is Flea Medicine Harmful?

I use revolution on my dogs. I buy the correct one according to their weight and put it on once a month. They are indoor dogs but do go outside to potty, plus we go on walks and take them camping.
The breeder I bought the dogs from insist that if you use the entire dose of flea medicince that it could kill them and is unnecessary. That only a drop or 1/2 dose is needed.
Vet said that by not using an entire does it will not work and it is not harmful.
Who is right?

It may depend on the size of your dog. If it hist the low end of the dose scale you may not have to use it all. However; they would not put as much in for a higher dose so I don’t believe it would hurt anything.

If you are taking your dogs camping I would certainly use the whole thing.
